Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone (APSEZ) announced a significant achievement on Tuesday, having handled 500 million tonnes of cargo in the financial year 2026. This represents an impressive 11.1 per cent increase compared to the previous financial year, when 450 million tonnes were handled.
Looking ahead, APSEZ has reiterated its ambitious target to manage 1 billion tonnes of cargo by the year 2030. This goal signifies a strong commitment to growth and expanded capacity within India's burgeoning logistics sector.
The company's operational prowess is supported by a substantial infrastructure network. APSEZ manages 15 ports and terminals strategically located across India's west, south, and east coasts. This network is complemented by integrated logistics capabilities, including 12 multi-modal logistics parks and extensive warehousing facilities.
