Apple India Pvt Ltd has surpassed the ₹1 lakh crore revenue mark in the fiscal year ending March 2026, marking a significant financial achievement. The company's revenue from operations surged by 31% year-on-year, reaching ₹1,03,853 crore. This performance stands out against a backdrop of a generally slowing market, where its competitor Samsung saw a decline in mobile phone revenues.
Profitability for Apple India also saw remarkable acceleration, with net profit jumping 66% to ₹5,311 crore in FY26. This strong financial growth is attributed to the increasing consumer shift towards premium smartphones in India. Factors such as strong brand aspiration, expanding retail presence, improved distribution in smaller markets, and accessible financing options are making iPhones more attainable.
The premium smartphone segment, defined as devices priced above ₹30,000, experienced the fastest growth within India's smartphone market, expanding by 12% in volume. Apple's own volume growth more than doubled to 24% in FY26, significantly outpacing the overall market's 2% volume growth. This highlights Apple's increasing dominance in the high-value segment of the Indian market.
