The primary objectives are to ensure the financial viability of DISCOMs, substantially reduce aggregate technical and commercial (AT&C) losses, and guarantee a reliable power supply to all categories of consumers across Andhra Pradesh.
Key strategies being deployed include feeder segregation, conductor replacement, feeder bifurcation, and the integration of modern distribution infrastructure. The Chief Secretary also instructed DISCOM officials to proactively address issues related to billing and claims processing, emphasizing the importance of regular reviews at various administrative levels to ensure effective project execution and quality control.
