On November 15, 2025, the Andhra Pradesh government and the World Economic Forum signed an agreement to establish a Center for Energy and Cyber Resilience. This deal, concluded in the presence of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, aims to protect the state's electricity infrastructure.
Addressing the ceremony, Naidu emphasized Andhra Pradesh's focus on green energy, stating that the state has set a target to generate 160 GW of renewable power. The government is also working to lower transmission losses and provide quality power at the least cost, utilizing technologies like Artificial Intelligence to achieve this goal.
During the 30th CII Partnership Summit, Naidu announced that Andhra Pradesh has attracted investment commitments worth Rs 13 lakh crore, which are expected to create around 30 lakh jobs. The chief minister praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership and noted that India is projected to become the world's third-largest economy next year and the largest by 2047.
