Anabi Oil, the parent company of Rebel Convenience Stores, has significantly expanded its footprint with the acquisition of 12 convenience stores from California-based C&J Cox Corporation. These newly acquired stores operate under the Cox Family Stores banner and feature fuel brands such as Shell, Chevron, and Valero. This latest transaction marks another substantial move for Anabi, which has reportedly acquired around 100 stores in recent months, positioning it as one of the nation's fastest-growing regional convenience retailers.
This aggressive expansion strategy, including recent purchases of stores in Florida and Nevada, underscores Anabi's competitive ambition in the convenience store sector. The company aims to preserve the customer trust built by Cox over nearly 50 years, ensuring a smooth transition for staff and customers.
