Amundi has acquired a significant 9.9% economic stake in ICG, an alternatives asset manager, in a transaction valued at approximately €620 million. This move solidifies a long-term strategic and equity partnership between the two financial institutions, initially agreed upon in November 2025.
The partnership includes a comprehensive 10-year distribution agreement. Under this accord, Amundi will act as the sole global distributor for ICG's evergreen products and other selected offerings within the wealth channel. This arrangement is designed to enhance the reach of private market solutions to a broader investor base.
Furthermore, ICG will serve as the exclusive supplier for these products to Amundi's distribution business. The collaboration also emphasizes the joint development of new products specifically targeted at wealth investors. The first of these joint offerings, focusing on private equity secondaries, is slated for release in the coming weeks.
