Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan has purchased a significant parcel of land, measuring 2.67 acres, in Ayodhya for Rs 35 crore. The transaction was executed on Friday, March 7, 2026, through Rajesh Yadav, Managing Director of AB Corp Ltd.
This acquisition marks Bachchan's third investment in Ayodhya through the real estate firm House of Abhinandan Lodha (HoABL) and his fourth overall. The land is situated near HoABL's expansive 75-acre luxury development, The Sarayu, where Bachchan had previously invested in January 2024.
HoABL, founded in 2020, has established itself as a major player in India's branded land development sector. The company focuses on transparency and technology, having sold over 13 million sq ft of developed land and managing 34 million sq ft under development across various Indian cities.
