Amazon Dressers & Play Yards Recalled Over Child Safety Risks

Two types of children's products sold by Amazon, Romorgniz fabric dressers and Anna Queen play yards, have been recalled nationwide by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) due to serious safety concerns. The recalls address risks of tip-overs, entrapment, and suffocation, which could lead to severe injury or death in children.

The Romorgniz 12- and 13-drawer dressers, numbering around 1,980 units, were sold between July and October 2025. These dressers are unstable and violate the mandatory standard set by the STURDY Act, posing a significant tip-over hazard. Similarly, approximately 70 Anna Queen play yards, sold from March 2025, have been recalled due to a risk of suffocation and entrapment under the mattress.

Consumers who purchased these recalled items are strongly advised to stop using them immediately. Instructions have been provided by the CPSC for customers to obtain a full refund by disassembling and disposing of the products, with proof required via email. These recalls are ongoing as safety authorities work to remove hazardous items from homes.
