Effective April 1, 2026, Air India is implementing significant enhancements to its Maharaja Club loyalty program, aiming to boost member value and flexibility. Based on extensive member feedback, the airline is reducing the Maharaja Points needed for award flights and cabin upgrades across most of its network. Domestic award flights will now start from 1,500 points, with upgrades beginning at 4,000 points. International redemption levels have also been standardized, with economy class fares seeing an average reduction of approximately 30% on many routes.
