Starting August 1, Air India will introduce its new Boeing 787-9 aircraft on the Delhi-Toronto route. The total travel time will be reduced from approximately 20 hours to around 17 hours.
The airline is also restoring daily flight frequency on the route, increasing from the current five weekly services. This enhancement introduces Air India's latest long-haul cabin product to Canada. The Boeing 787-9 features a three-class configuration, including private Business Class suites and the newly introduced Premium Economy cabin.
This strategic move by Air India aims to better serve the significant Indian diaspora in Canada. The introduction of the new aircraft and cabin products signifies a key milestone in expanding the airline's modern fleet across important international markets. Passengers can expect enhanced onboard amenities and services.
