Contract manufacturing firm Aequs reported a consolidated net loss of ₹52.4 Cr for the September quarter of FY27. This represents a significant widening from the ₹20.6 Cr loss recorded in the same period last fiscal year.
Despite the increased net loss, Aequs' operating revenue experienced substantial growth, climbing by 45.3% to ₹409.1 Cr from ₹281.6 Cr in the prior year. Sequentially, revenue saw a modest increase of 3.4%.
The aerospace division remained the primary revenue driver, generating ₹351.4 Cr during the quarter, an increase of 44.2% year-on-year. Concurrently, the consumer business segment posted a 52% revenue increase, contributing ₹57.7 Cr.
However, expenses excluding certain costs grew faster than revenue, rising by 56.2% to ₹395.2 Cr. This surge in expenditure contributed to the widening net loss despite the overall revenue uplift.
