Adani Power has reported a significant financial uplift, with its net profit soaring by 47.24% year-on-year to Rs 4,866.60 crore for Q1 FY27. This achievement reflects a strong performance in the energy sector.
The company's revenue also saw a considerable increase, growing by 33.97% to Rs 18,901.89 crore compared to the previous year. This growth is attributed to rising power demand, enhanced operating capacity, and improved tariff realization.
Adani Power's operational capacity has expanded, reaching 18,330 MW. Power sales under Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) grew substantially, alongside an increase in merchant and short-term power realization due to robust market demand.
Looking ahead, Adani Power is exploring diversification into hydro and nuclear power projects. The company also announced plans to raise up to Rs 15,000 crore and increase its borrowing limit to Rs 1,00,000 crore to support its expansion initiatives.
