Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani has announced a significant investment of over ₹4,000 crore for the Adani Arogya Mandir, a new healthcare project in West Bengal. This initiative is expected to create more than 10,000 jobs.
The Adani Arogya Mandir will be a 2,000-bed not-for-profit healthcare facility. Half of these beds will be allocated to patients covered by government health insurance programs. The project will also include a medical college.
The facility will span 51.75 acres and serve as an academic medical center. It is projected to treat over 2 lakh in-patients and 20 lakh out-patients annually, focusing on advanced research in genomics and precision medicine.
Adani also revealed plans for over ₹1 lakh crore in investments across multiple sectors in West Bengal by 2035. Collaborations with international entities like Mayo Clinic and SingHealth are planned for expertise in clinical services and digital healthcare.
