In a strong performance, Adani Green Energy has reported a 111% year-on-year jump in its net profit for the September quarter of 2025. The company's net profit more than doubled to Rs 583 crore, up from Rs 276 crore in the same period last year.
This impressive growth was driven by the company's continued capacity additions and operational efficiency. Adani Green added 2.4 GW of renewable energy capacity in the first half of the current fiscal year, bringing its total operational capacity to 16.7 GW, the highest in India. This represents a 49% year-on-year increase in capacity.
The company's revenue from power supply, its primary income driver, rose 20% year-on-year to Rs 2,776 crore, while EBITDA from the power supply segment climbed 19% to Rs 2,543 crore. Adani Green attributed this strong performance to its greenfield capacity additions, the deployment of advanced renewable energy technologies, and the commissioning of new assets across resource-rich sites in Khavda, Gujarat, and Rajasthan.
Ashish Khanna, the CEO of Adani Green Energy, stated that the company is making steady progress on its 30 GW renewable energy project at Khavda, which is its largest ongoing development. Adani Green remains on track to achieve its target of 5 GW of capacity addition for the full fiscal year and reaffirmed its long-term goal of 50 GW of renewable capacity by 2030.
