Schmoyer and Company, based in Columbia, brings expertise in healthcare accounting, small-business advisory, and tax services.
This collaboration is set to enhance Mauldin & Jenkins' offerings, particularly for closely held businesses and healthcare organizations within the region. Terry Schmoyer, managing partner at Schmoyer and Company, stated that the merger allows for meeting clients' evolving needs with personalized service.
Schmoyer and Company clients will gain access to Mauldin & Jenkins' extensive platform of services. Existing client advisors will remain in place, and Schmoyer, along with two other colleagues, will join Mauldin & Jenkins as partners. The firm will continue operations from its current Columbia office to ensure service continuity.
