Ahluwalia Contracts India Ltd announced on December 16, 2025, that it has been awarded a substantial construction order valued at ₹888.38 crore, including GST. The contract is for the construction and overall development of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra at Punauradham, a significant site located in Sitamarhi district, Bihar, revered as the birthplace of Sita.
The project, to be executed under the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) mode, falls under civil construction works. The domestic contract is scheduled for completion within a period of 42 months. This latest order adds to the company's robust project pipeline.
Earlier this year, in June 2025, Ahluwalia Contracts had secured two other major domestic projects amounting to ₹1,103.56 crore, including residential tower construction in Gurugram and a group housing project in Bengaluru, demonstrating its continued growth in the construction sector.
