Ford is set to launch the 2027 Mustang Dark Horse SC Convertible, a high-performance convertible muscle car.
This new model delivers an impressive 795 horsepower and 660 lb-ft of torque from its supercharged 5.2-liter V8 engine, paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission.
Unlike its coupe counterpart, the convertible is engineered by Ford Racing for superior grand touring comfort and street-focused enjoyment. It features a specially tuned MagneRide suspension for a balance of handling and ride quality.
Orders for the Dark Horse SC Convertible will open in the fall of 2026, with initial deliveries slated for spring 2027. Pricing is anticipated to be around or above $110,000.
