Yamaha Motor India has announced a price revision for its R15 sportbike series, with a Rs 4,900 increase applied to all variants. The R15S, R15 V4, and R15M models are now more expensive.
The updated pricing positions the R15S starting at Rs 1.57 lakh, the R15 V4 between Rs 1.71 lakh and Rs 1.76 lakh, and the R15M from Rs 1.86 lakh to Rs 1.96 lakh (all ex-showroom).
The R15 V4 variant features include upside-down front forks and an optional quickshifter, enhancing its sporty appeal. The premium R15M offers advanced features like a colour TFT display and a standard quickshifter, drawing inspiration from Yamaha's flagship R1.
All R15 models are powered by a 155cc, liquid-cooled engine producing 18.4 hp and 14.2 Nm of torque, paired with a 6-speed gearbox. The core chassis and braking systems remain unchanged.
