- Subhadra Yojana provides Rs 50,000 to women aged 21-60 over five years.

Odisha's Deputy Chief Minister announced on Saturday that 1,23,849 beneficiaries who were excluded from the fourth instalment of the Subhadra Yojana will receive their financial assistance on May 4, 2026. These funds will be directly transferred to the bank accounts of the eligible women.
The state government had identified beneficiaries inadvertently left out of the fourth instalment, which was disbursed on March 8. Department secretaries were tasked with compiling a comprehensive list of those who missed out for various reasons.
Earlier, over Rs 5,000 crore was disbursed under the fourth instalment to more than 1.02 crore women beneficiaries across the state. The Subhadra Yojana is a key initiative designed to enhance women's financial independence, offering Rs 50,000 over five years (2024-25 to 2028-29) to eligible women aged 21 to 60.
This targeted intervention ensures that all intended recipients benefit from the scheme's provisions, reinforcing the government's commitment to women's welfare.
