Quentin Tarantino has penned the script for a spinoff to his 2019 film Once Upon a Time... in Hollywood, titled The Adventures of Cliff Booth. The new movie will see the return of Brad Pitt, who won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his portrayal of Cliff Booth in the original.
Pitt was recently photographed on the set of The Adventures of Cliff Booth, sporting a blond wig and matching mustache as he filmed scenes for the project in a location made to resemble a movie theater. The actor's appearance suggests the new movie will further explore the character of Cliff Booth, a stunt performer who worked alongside Leonardo DiCaprio's character Rick Dalton in the 1969-set Once Upon a Time... in Hollywood.
Filmmaker David Fincher (The Killer, Se7en) is directing the spinoff, which is expected to follow Pitt's Cliff Booth character as a "Hollywood studio fixer" some time after the events of the original film. The Adventures of Cliff Booth does not yet have a release date, but it will be distributed by Netflix.
