Tarantino Scraps "The Movie Critic" for Netflix's "The Adventures of Cliff Booth"

In a recent appearance on the fan podcast "The Church of Tarantino," acclaimed director Quentin Tarantino provided details about his upcoming projects. Tarantino disclosed that he is currently working on a play he hopes to take to the West End in London.

Additionally, Tarantino explained the evolution of his previously announced limited series "The Movie Critic." Originally planned as a series, the project has now been whittled down to a feature film. The film was set to be Tarantino's 10th and expected-to-be-final movie, taking place in 1970s Los Angeles around the same time and place as his previous film "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood."

However, Tarantino has now shifted his focus to a new collaboration with director David Fincher. The two are working on a film titled "The Adventures of Cliff Booth" for Netflix, which will feature the return of the character Cliff Booth, played by Oscar winner Brad Pitt, from "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood." This period film has already begun production on location in California.

Despite speculation about Tarantino being paralyzed by indecision, the director has assured his fans that he remains active and engaged in his creative process. While "The Movie Critic" has been shelved, Tarantino's fans can look forward to his upcoming play and the Netflix film "The Adventures of Cliff Booth" as the director continues to shape his legacy.
