'Son of Sardaar 2' Fights for Box Office Dominance Amid Rivals

Ajay Devgn's 'Son of Sardaar 2' is facing stiff competition at the box office as it fights for dominance against other recent releases. The comedy sequel, directed by Vijay Kumar Arora, has managed to earn ₹24.75 crore in its first 3 days, according to reports.
However, the real juggernaut in the market is Mohit Suri's 'Saiyaara', which has continued its strong run, earning ₹8 crore on Day 17 and crossing the ₹299.75 crore mark in India. The film, starring newcomers Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, is expected to cross the ₹300 crore milestone today.
Another new release, 'Dhadak 2', has also made its mark, earning ₹7.25 crore at the box office in its opening weekend. The film features Siddhant Chaturvedi and Triptii Dimri in the lead roles.
Despite the competition, 'Son of Sardaar 2' managed to record an overall Hindi occupancy of 34.9% on its first Sunday, with the evening shows witnessing the highest occupancy at 51.58%. The film, which also stars Mrunal Thakur, Ravi Kishan, Neeru Bajwa, and Kubbra Sait, among others, is the sequel to the 2012 film 'Son of Sardaar'.
