24 Aug
Summary
- Coolie's Hindi version performing decently at Indian box office
- Film surpasses lifetime collection of Kabali to become 3rd highest-grossing Tamil film in Hindi
- Hindi version sees 77.6% jump in collections on second Saturday

As of 2025-08-24T09:15:45+00:00, the Hindi-dubbed version of Rajinikanth's Coolie has been performing decently at the Indian box office. The film faced a high-voltage clash with Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR's War 2, but it has managed to attract a consistent audience.
While the Telugu version of Coolie is likely to be a loss venture for the buyers, the Hindi version has emerged as a decent affair. Considering the inclusion of Aamir Khan in the cast, the film was expected to earn big, but that did not happen. Still, it has minted a decent collection of 29.52 crore net at the Indian box office in the last 10 days.
The combination of Rajinikanth and director Lokesh Kanagaraj was a major attraction for audiences across India. Furthermore, the makers pulled off a brilliant casting by roping in Nagarjuna, Aamir Khan, and Upendra. However, the mixed word-of-mouth significantly affected the film's potential.
Speaking about the Hindi version, Coolie is enjoying average reactions from the audience. It isn't completely neglected and is managing to attract footfall consistently. On the second Saturday, the film witnessed an impressive jump of 77.6% in its collections, going from 1.25 crores on Friday to 2.22 crores.
Overall, Coolie has surpassed the lifetime collection of Kabali (28 crores) to become the third highest-grossing Tamil film in the Hindi market. It is now heading towards a lifetime collection of 42-45 crore net, which would soon make it the second highest-grossing Tamil film in Hindi, overtaking Leo (32.21 crores).
