Prince Harry Jokes About Sibling Rivalry Amid Royal Rift

On September 8, 2025, Prince Harry attended the 20th WellChild Awards in London, where he met with honoree Declan Bitmead. During their conversation, Harry asked Declan about his family, and the teen shared that he has a younger brother. Harry jokingly asked Declan if his sibling "drove" him "mad," to which Declan replied that they get along well.

Harry's comment about sibling relationships comes amid his ongoing rift with brother Prince William and father King Charles III. The Duke of Sussex has been at odds with the pair since he and wife Meghan Markle stepped away from their royal family duties in 2020 and relocated to the United States. Harry last saw his father in person in February 2024, the same month the monarch went public with his cancer diagnosis.
