"Modern Family" Star Sofía Vergara Eager for Show's Comeback

In a recent interview, actress Sofía Vergara expressed her enthusiasm for a potential "Modern Family" revival. Vergara, who portrayed the fiery Gloria Delgado-Pritchet on the show for 11 seasons, stated that she would give an immediate "yes" if the opportunity arose.

The 53-year-old actress shared that she misses playing the character of Gloria and working with her former castmates, whom she considers a real-life family. Vergara even joked about constantly texting her on-screen husband, Ed O'Neill, to ensure he doesn't "die" so they can reunite for a comeback.

Aside from her desire to reprise her iconic role, Vergara also discussed the lessons she learned from her recent divorce from Joe Manganiello in 2023. The actress emphasized that divorce taught her the importance of staying positive and hopeful, even when things don't work out as expected.
