Pokémon fans are in for a treat as The Pokémon Company has unveiled new details about the forthcoming Pokémon Legends: Z-A game. Scheduled for release on October 16th, 2023, the game will introduce a highly anticipated new feature: the Mega Evolved form of the classic Pokémon, Dragonite.
The game is set in the Lumiose City region of the Kalos region, where players will encounter wild Pokémon that have begun to mega evolve on their own and gone rogue. To combat this threat, players will team up with "Team MZ," a group of protectors led by fashion designer Naveen and professional dancer Lida.
During the day, players will explore the city, catch Pokémon, and help the citizens in various side quests. But at night, they'll take part in the Z-A Royale, a high-stakes competition against powerful trainers to climb the ranks.
The game is a spiritual successor to the well-received Pokémon Legends: Arceus, and players can expect improved graphics and performance on the new Switch 2 console. With a compelling story, new Mega Evolutions, and a mix of exploration and competitive gameplay, Pokémon Legends: Z-A is shaping up to be an exciting addition to the Pokémon franchise.
