Maggie's Marital Mayhem Shakes Up Sullivan's Crossing in Season 3 Finale

In July 2025, the hit drama series Sullivan's Crossing was renewed for a fourth season, which is expected to premiere in 2026. The show, based on the book series by Robyn Carr, follows the life of neurosurgeon Maggie as she returns to her hometown in rural Nova Scotia and reconnects with her estranged father, Sully.

Over the course of three seasons, Maggie has found her place in Sullivan's Crossing, even falling in love with Cal. However, the season 3 finale ended on a shocking note when Maggie's secret husband, Liam, unexpectedly showed up in town, creating a significant disruption in her life.

Elsewhere in Sullivan's Crossing, Sully left town for a trip with his girlfriend, while longtime residents Frank and Edna were considering stepping away from the community altogether. Showrunner Roma Roth has promised that season 4 will have "a pretty big shoe drop" that will play out in the upcoming episodes. The third season was focused on the theme of "second chances," allowing the characters to explore love and find hope in their lives.
