According to early estimates, 'Kingdom' earned around ₹8 crore in India on Saturday, the third day of its release, bringing its total domestic collection across all languages to ₹33.5 crore. The film had opened strongly on Thursday, earning ₹18 crore, but saw a slight dip to ₹7.5 crore on Friday.
The Telugu version of the film has been the dominant performer, registering an overall 47.4% occupancy across the state on Saturday. In contrast, the Tamil version of the film has seen lower engagement, with an overall occupancy of just 21.11% on Saturday.
Set in the early 1990s, 'Kingdom' follows the story of Soori, a humble police constable who is on a covert mission to track down a powerful smuggling gang operating in Sri Lanka. The twist in the tale is that the gang's leader is Soori's estranged brother, Siva, played by Satyadev, who had run away years earlier after a troubled past involving family conflict.
