On August 27, 2025, veteran actor Guzman, 69, appeared on the latest edition of Hot Ones Versus alongside his Wednesday costars Jenna Ortega, Emma Myers, Joy Sunday, and Georgie Farmer. During the interview, Guzman was put on the spot and asked to describe some of his past costars in just one word.
When Guzman's former collaborator Jennifer Lopez, 56, was mentioned, the actor simply responded with "OK," surprising his younger costars. Ortega, 22, who plays Guzman's onscreen daughter, received a much more positive description, with Guzman calling her a "prodigy." Ortega responded by saying, "Aw, I love you," to which Guzman mouthed back, "I love you."
Guzman and Lopez had previously worked together on the 1998 crime caper film Out of Sight, directed by Steven Soderbergh. The movie, which also starred George Clooney, Ving Rhames, and Don Cheadle, was notable for being one of Lopez's breakout roles, with critics praising her performance.
In the years since its release, Out of Sight has gained a cult following, with Lopez reflecting on its legacy in a 2018 interview, saying, "It kind of became a cult classic. It didn't get as much notice when it first came out at the box office. But now, years later, there's so many people who tell me that was their favorite film. It's crazy."
