Summary
- Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan reunite on-screen after 22 years
- Lohan calls Curtis a support during her public struggles
- Curtis says she trusts Lohan, a rare thing for her

In 2025, veteran actress Jamie Lee Curtis, 66, and Lindsay Lohan, 39, are reuniting on-screen for the first time in 22 years with the release of Freakier Friday. However, their off-screen friendship has remained strong since they first co-starred in the 2003 Disney film Freaky Friday.
When Lohan welcomed her son Laui in 2023, Curtis jokingly referred to herself as a "movie grandmother." And last year, Lohan cheered on Curtis when she won an Oscar for her role in Everything, Everywhere, All At Once.
Curtis, who broke into the industry at age 20 with Halloween, spoke about developing a close bond with Lohan despite their age difference. "Lindsay was 15 when we worked on the first film," Curtis recalled. "I wanted her to understand that there was a bridge and that I was real, and that she always could be real with me. And she was."

Lohan echoed those sentiments, telling PEOPLE this July, "Jamie was with me at a time in my life when I was going through a lot publicly. She was privately really there for me." Curtis added, "I know I can trust her. And I can't say that about a lot of people."
"We connected, and we really stayed connected. And that is special and rare for me," Curtis concluded.
