DiCaprio Patted Down by Police at Ibiza Party

In a surprising turn of events last month, renowned actor Leonardo DiCaprio found himself in the spotlight for an unexpected reason while vacationing in Ibiza, Spain. According to video footage obtained by a news outlet, DiCaprio was stopped and searched by Spanish authorities as he attempted to enter an Ibiza party hosted by actor Arón Piper and tequila brand Patron on August 9th.

Despite being dressed casually in a black t-shirt and pants, DiCaprio appeared bewildered as police patted him down during the search. However, a source later clarified that the actor was not singled out, as all guests were required to undergo the same security measures before being allowed into the glitzy event.

Accompanying DiCaprio were his girlfriend, Vittoria Ceretti, as well as their friends Joel Edgerton and his partner, Christine Centenera, all of whom were also searched by the authorities. The incident occurred as DiCaprio and his entourage tried to join a high-profile guest list that included the actor's longtime friend, Tobey Maguire, and model Kendall Jenner.

This was not the only time DiCaprio made headlines during his Ibiza vacation. The notoriously private actor was also photographed on multiple occasions seemingly trying to avoid the paparazzi by covering his face with a baseball cap, a tactic that ultimately proved unsuccessful as the images went viral and spawned numerous memes.
