Cass McCombs Strips Down for Intimate New Album 'Interior Live Oak'

The new record sees McCombs stripping down his sound and returning to the elemental sensibility of his early work, while also elaborating on the more personal lyricism of 'Heartmind'.

For 'Interior Live Oak', McCombs has reunited with past collaborators like Matt Sweeney, Papercuts' Jason Quever, and Deerhoof's Chris Cohen, creating an intimate and introspective collection of songs. Separately, Chance the Rapper has made a long-awaited return to music, six years after the release of his 2019 album 'The Big Day'.
