Summary
- Taking a break from acting to focus on charity, The Shameless Fund
- Launching eyewear line with Cubitts to support LGBTQ+ causes
- Enlisted celebrity friends like Scarlett Johansson to promote the charity

In September 2025, English actor Luke Bailey announced he would be taking a break from acting in 2026 to focus on running his charity, The Shameless Fund. The 37-year-old, best known for his role in the hit Netflix series Bridgerton, has been working steadily for the past three years, including starring in the blockbuster film Jurassic World Rebirth.
However, with the ongoing global challenges, Bailey has decided to shift his priorities to his passion project, The Shameless Fund. Over the next few months, he will be focused on staffing and ensuring the right people are in place to help grow the organization. A key part of this effort is a collaboration with England-based eyeglass manufacturer Cubitts, for which Bailey has designed a line of colorful, distinctive pink-framed shades.
Bailey believes the Shameless Fund and the eyewear line can make a real difference, as he notes that only 1 penny out of every £100 raised in the UK goes to the LGBTQ+ community. He has enlisted the help of his famous friends, including Wicked co-star Cynthia Erivo and Avengers actress Scarlett Johansson, to promote the initiative on social media.
