24 Aug
Summary
- Cast played pranks with fart machines and whoopee cushions
- Pranks were documented in production reports
- Cast unaware their antics were officially recorded

In a recent reunion, the cast of the hit TV series Bones reminisced about their memorable on-set antics and practical jokes. According to the cast, their favorite pranks often involved the use of fart machines and whoopee cushions.
David Boreanaz, who played FBI agent Seeley Booth, admitted to frequently placing fart machines in the actors' trailers and whoopee cushions on co-star Michaela Conlin's chair. The cast found these pranks hilarious, with Conlin's reactions being particularly memorable.
However, the cast was shocked to learn that their juvenile antics had been officially documented in the show's production reports. The show's creator, Hart Hanson, revealed that the reasons for budget overages were sometimes attributed to "fart machines."

Emily Deschanel, who played the titular role of Dr. Temperance "Bones" Brennan, was surprised to discover that their pranks had been recorded, as the cast had been unaware of this at the time.
The Bones reunion, which took place at the inaugural Televerse Festival, marked the first time the entire cast had been together since the show wrapped up in 2017 after 12 successful seasons on Fox.
