Assam is still mourning the untimely demise of legendary artist Zubeen Garg, but his final film, the musical romantic drama Roi Roi Binale, is creating waves at the box office. The movie, directed by Rajesh Bhuyan, has registered a record-breaking advance booking sale of 41.2 lakh gross on its opening day.
Around 13.5K tickets have been sold across the state from approximately 102 shows, with ticket prices ranging from Rs 120 to Rs 900. The massive demand from fans has even led to the introduction of early morning shows. This achievement surpasses the previous record set by Ravi Sarma's Rudra, which had a record-breaking opening of 40.2 lakhs earlier this year.
Roi Roi Binale, featuring an ensemble cast including Zubeen Garg, Mousumi Alifa, Joy Kashyap, and Achurjya Borpatra, is set to be an emotional outing for fans worldwide. The film, produced under the banners of Eye Creations and Zeal Creations, is scheduled for theatrical release on October 31, 2025.
