Fan-favorite character Flash, the super-slow sloth from "Zootopia," makes an appearance in a deleted scene from "Zootopia 2." The cut sequence unveils his new role as an IT specialist for the Zootopia Police Department (ZPD).
In this scene, Chief Bogo's IT support, Flash, is called upon by Nick Wilde. Nick needs Clawhauser's assistance to locate Judy Hopps, who has been separated from him. Clawhauser accesses traffic cameras using Flash's lengthy password, a plot point altered from the film's final version.
The digital release of "Zootopia 2" on January 27, 2026, and its Blu-ray/DVD release on March 3, 2026, include this and other deleted scenes. The sequel was the second-highest-grossing film worldwide last year and is nominated for best animated feature at the Academy Awards.
