Fans of ZA/UM Studio's acclaimed Disco Elysium can anticipate a demo for the developer's upcoming espionage RPG, Zero Parades: For Dead Spies. This free demo will be available on Steam starting February 23 and will run until March 16.
The demo provides a taste of the game set in the city-state of Portofiro. It includes the game's opening sequence with two full quests, various side activities, and environmental exploration. Players can select from three distinct character archetypes, enhancing replayability with a dialogue system that embraces 'failing forward.'
While controller support will be present in the full release, it is not included in the demo. The game will also not be optimized for Steam Deck at launch. Zero Parades: For Dead Spies is an espionage RPG where players assume the role of a tormented operative on a critical assignment.
The game promises a gorgeous art style reminiscent of Disco Elysium, dramatic encounters, and choice-based consequences. Skill checks and complex dialogue trees will further shape the player's experience. Zero Parades: For Dead Spies is scheduled for release in 2026 for PC and PlayStation 5.
