Chris Rock and his ex-wife Malaak Compton-Rock recently came together to celebrate their daughter Zahra's college graduation. Zahra, 21, earned her degree from the University of Southern California, graduating magna cum laude. She received diplomas from both the School of Dramatic Arts and the Dana and David Dornsife College of Letters, Arts, and Sciences.
Compton-Rock shared her pride on social media, highlighting Zahra's "extraordinary academic achievements" and her "lifelong love of literature" which led her to an English degree. The proud mother praised Zahra's work ethic and insightful analysis of complex literature.
The former couple, who were married from 1996 to 2016, also share another daughter, Lola Simon, 23. Compton-Rock also has an adopted daughter, Ntombi. The family celebrated Zahra's momentous occasion together.
