26 Jan
Summary
- Judge ordered ex-wife to return over 170 confidential business documents.
- Ex-wife accused of monetizing social media posts with inside knowledge.
- Court granted permanent injunction against ex-wife's data use.

A federal judge has ruled in favor of country star Zac Brown, ordering his estranged wife, Kelly Yazdi, to return confidential business documents she retained after her termination. The court found Yazdi breached her employment contract by taking more than 170 emails and files that could have been used to damage Brown publicly.
According to the ruling, Yazdi secretly forwarded sensitive company information to herself and later used inside knowledge of an unreleased Dolly Parton collaboration, "Butterfly." She strategically timed social media posts to enhance her own platforms while undermining Zac Brown Collective's business interests.
The permanent injunction mandates Yazdi return all materials within seven days and cease any further disclosure or use of Brown's business information. Zac's attorney stated the evidence showed Yazdi betrayed trust and used confidential data for personal gain. Yazdi has not yet commented.
