21 Jul
Summary
- Ian Bohen was kicked in the face by a cow during filming.
- Jennifer Landon described the incident as a 'close call'.
- Another Yellowstone actor was bitten by fire ants on set.
During a Fanboy Expo Knoxville panel on July 10, 2026, Yellowstone stars Ian Bohen and Jennifer Landon shared a harrowing on-set story. While filming a cattle branding scene, Bohen was kicked in the face by a large cow, an event Landon called a 'close call' that Bohen's athleticism prevented from being much worse.
Landon recounted her emotional reaction, stating she was 'sobbing' and felt that laughing at injury was unacceptable. Bohen, who appeared in all five seasons from 2018 to 2024, clarified he was not laughing but went down instantly. Landon joined the series in its third season in 2020.
This incident is not the only on-set mishap within the Taylor Sheridan universe. Ali Larter previously shared an experience from season two where she was bitten by fire ants while filming a scene barefoot, an event she humorously recounted on 'Late Night with Seth Meyers.'
