The show, which was originally announced in May 2024, will feature an impressive lineup of talent, including Jason Schwartzman, Aubrey Plaza, Whoopi Goldberg, John Waters, Aparna Nancherla, Gil Ozeri, and Amy Sedaris. "Kevin" is inspired by a real-life breakup and the cat caught in the middle, following a lovable and neurotic tuxedo cat who impulsively leaves his sheltered life to venture out on his own in the big city.
Both Plaza and Joe Wengert are the co-creators of "Kevin," with Wengert also serving as the showrunner. The series is produced by Titmouse, Plaza and Murphy's Evil Hag Productions, and Amazon MGM Studios.
