Country Star Debuts Acting Chops on Yellowstone Spinoff

During a recent episode of the Yellowstone spinoff, country singer Ashley Cooke made a surprise appearance, performing her song "Next to You" at the Four Sixes bar. This event coincided with the introduction of actor Logan Marshall-Green, who is joining the series for multiple episodes. Green, also a musician, will portray Garrett, a former Navy SEAL.

Garrett arrives at the ranch seeking help from friends Kayce Dutton and Cal to overcome his past. Green expressed excitement about joining the cast, particularly working with his friend Luke Grimes, who encouraged him to try acting. Green found the experience of acting, with its daily novelty, a contrast to the repetitive nature of touring music. He mentioned that his character's deep emotional struggles presented a unique acting challenge.
