2 May
Summary
- Yellowcard and Good Charlotte's collaboration hits No. 1.
- Good Charlotte sets record for longest wait to reach No. 1.
- The song is a rare chart achievement for both bands.
The iconic pop-punk bands Yellowcard and Good Charlotte have joined forces to conquer Billboard's Alternative Airplay chart. Their collaborative single, "Bedroom Posters," has risen to the No. 1 position on the chart dated May 9. This achievement marks Yellowcard's second No. 1 on the Alternative Airplay list, following their previous success with "Better Days" in August-September 2025. "Better Days" was released on October 10, 2025, and has garnered 31,000 equivalent album units.
This new chart-topper is particularly historic for Good Charlotte, representing their first time ever reaching No. 1 on any Billboard airplay ranking. The band first appeared on the Alternative Airplay chart in September 2000 with "Little Things." This means Good Charlotte has set an unprecedented record for the longest span—25 years, seven months, and one week—between an act's initial appearance on the chart and its subsequent first No. 1 position. While Yellowcard previously held the record for the longest wait as a lead act, this new accomplishment highlights a significant moment for both bands.
