Yash's Toxic Wows Japanese Fans Amidst Indian Mixed Reviews

Yash's latest film, "Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups," has experienced a starkly contrasting reception in Japan compared to India. While Indian audiences offered varied reviews, Japanese fans have embraced the movie, with several expressing strong positive sentiments. Comments from Japan described the film as "Amazing" and "very good."

Despite the critical divide, "Toxic" made a significant debut at the Indian box office. The film garnered a net collection of ₹101.10 crore on its opening day. This performance, however, falls short of the record set by Yash's prior release, "KGF: Chapter 2," which earned ₹116 crore net on its first day in India.

Produced by Venkat K. Narayana and Yash, "Toxic" was written and filmed in Kannada and English. It features a notable cast including Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi, Kiara Advani, Tara Sutaria, and Rukmini Vasanth. The film is directed by Geetu Mohandas and will be available in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam.
