Yash's Toxic Gets Shorter English Cut in India

Yash's film, 'Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups,' is set to release an English version in select Indian theaters on September 4, 2026. This version, which was written and filmed in English, runs for 2 hours and 57 minutes. It is approximately 17 minutes shorter than the Indian-language cut.

The English version was initially released overseas on August 26. The Indian-language version has a runtime of 3 hours, 14 minutes, and 12 seconds. Despite initial release on August 26, the film has faced negative reviews and a declining box office performance.

Directed by Geetu Mohandas, 'Toxic' is a period gangster drama set in post-independence Goa. The film features Yash in the lead role, alongside Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria, and Rukmini Vasanth. The shorter runtime is intended to enhance its accessibility for international audiences.
