Yash to Distribute 'Ramayana' in Karnataka

Nitesh Tiwari's mythological epic, 'Ramayana: Rise of a Legend,' is gearing up for a worldwide theatrical release on November 5, 2026. The film boasts an ensemble cast, with Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama, Sai Pallavi as Sita, and Yash taking on the formidable role of Ravana. Yash's production banner has also announced its significant involvement in the film's distribution, taking charge of handling the release within the Karnataka territory.

The scale of 'Ramayana' is further amplified by the collaboration of acclaimed composers A.R. Rahman and Hans Zimmer, creating anticipation for its musical score. The visual effects, managed by DNEG, aim to bring the expansive mythological world to life. The film is being co-produced by Namit Malhotra and Yash, with plans for an international campaign utilizing premium cinema formats.

Developed as a two-part adaptation, the first installment of 'Ramayana' is set for November 5, 2026. Reports indicate that the second installment's release has been moved from Diwali 2027 to Diwali 2028, though this revised date awaits official confirmation.
