The Stagecoach festival experienced a surge of Y2K nostalgia on Friday at Diplo's Honky Tonk, thanks to the roaming DJ-driven dance party, Emo Nite. Emo Nite founders Morgan Reed and T.J. Petracca launched the event with iconic early aughts hits, including tracks by Fall Out Boy, Panic! At the Disco, and My Chemical Romance. The atmosphere buzzed with popular songs like The Killers' 'Mr. Brightside' and Justin Bieber's 'Baby'.
Electropop duo 3OH!3 took the stage, performing fan favorites like 'My First Kiss' and their breakout hit 'Don't Trust Me' to an enthusiastic audience. Later, Ashlee Simpson, sporting a fringe leather jacket, captivated the crowd by performing 'La La' and 'Pieces of Me' from her 2004 debut album, 'Autobiography'. Simpson, who has recently performed in Las Vegas and won 'The Masked Singer', hinted at new music being on the horizon and expressed excitement for future releases.
