Lego is launching its first The X-Files set on August 1 for Lego Insiders and August 4 for the general public. The collectible set recreates Fox Mulder's basement office, complete with case files, investigative equipment, and the iconic "I Want to Believe" poster. An alien arrival scene in the surrounding woods is also part of the display.
The set boasts 1,478 pieces and includes eight minifigures: Fox Mulder, Dana Scully, Walter Skinner, Mr. X, Alex Krycek, Carl Busch, the Flukeman, and a gray alien. A fan designer created the project, which won Lego Ideas' '90s Nostalgia Challenge.
Measuring over 12 inches tall, the completed Lego display is designed for adult collectors. Builders can use the Lego Builder app for digital instructions. Lego Insiders members who purchase the set may receive an exclusive Scully's Lab promotional gift, while supplies last.
