The April 24 episode of WWE SmackDown showcased the dramatic aftermath of WrestleMania 42, with Jacob Fatu immediately making his presence felt. After challenging Roman Reigns, Fatu faced and defeated Solo Sikoa in the main event. He then single-handedly neutralized an attack from The MFTs, leaving Jimmy and Jey Uso to witness his dominance.
Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes addressed the WWE Universe, reflecting on his victory over Randy Orton at WrestleMania 42. An agitated Rhodes declared he had utilized all of Orton's teachings and then issued an open challenge to any competitor from RAW, SmackDown, or NXT.
