Emerald Fennell's "Wuthering Heights," starring Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi, has achieved a significant box office milestone. During its President's Day four-day weekend debut, the film grossed $37.5 million in North America. Internationally, it added $51 million, bringing its worldwide total to $88.5 million as of February 18, 2026.
This impressive sum positions "Wuthering Heights" as the top-grossing film of 2026 so far, outperforming "Send Help." The film has also surpassed the global earnings of the 2014 film "John Wick," with its worldwide total exceeding the action thriller by approximately $2.5 million. Domestically, "John Wick" still leads by $5.5 million, but "Wuthering Heights" shows stronger international performance.
Based on a reported $80 million budget, "Wuthering Heights" has covered its production cost but requires around $200 million globally to break even. It currently stands $111.5 million short of this target. While it has already outgrossed the original "John Wick," it needs about $83 million more to surpass "John Wick: Chapter 2."
